About

HEIN is a private company funded on family capital, formed in 1882 by Nicolas HEIN. Starting with the basic idea of building high performance bread-making ovens for the peasants, HEIN ovens quickly won tremendous success among bakers and were exported into the neighboring countries.

But it was above all thanks to a revolutionary and patented invention of the initial rack oven by Ferd HEIN that HEIN ovens won global success in the fifties, making this small artisan metalwork company a full-fledged medium-sized firm with a worldwide reputation.

The rack oven was the first step toward the rationalization of baking and of many derivatives, including the rotary rack oven.

HEIN develops, manufactures and distributes bakery and pastry-making ovens that "bake" to the greatest satisfaction of artisan bakers-pastry makers and industries on the world's five continents.

HEIN is leader in the BENELUX countries.
