For several generations, HEIN has been designing, manufacturing and installing baking ovens and refrigeration equipment for artisan and industrial customers, mainly across Europe.

As part of the development of our business activities, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer / CAD Designer (M/F) to strengthen our technical team.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of the Design Office, you will contribute to the design and development of equipment for our range of ovens and refrigeration equipment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Producing general arrangement and detailed drawings using CAD software.
  • Designing and modifying equipment according to project requirements.
  • Participating in the sizing and integration of mechanical components.
  • Updating drawings and technical documentation.
  • Working closely with production, assembly and project management teams.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of products and design methods.

Your Profile

  • Technical qualification (minimum two-year post-secondary degree or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks, MegaCad, AutoCAD, Inventor or equivalent).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
  • Strong organisational skills, autonomy, initiative and team spirit.
  • Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing and strong SolidWorks skills would be an advantage.
  • Good command of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Language skills: French, German and/or English.
